Futon Mattress Choice at Futon World
Here at the Futon Shop we've found over the years that many of our customers are looking for simplicity in a bed frame that will fit neatly and compactly on your floor and can be easily moved from room to room or from one home to another without being a DIY genius!

Of course strength in a frame is equally important and this leads me to comment on our blog. I've been 'nosing' around over the last week or so at some of the futon bed frames on offer in 'internet land' and they seem to range from the extravagant oriental styles through to items that look like you'll be lucky to still be using them after 6 months. Anyway, we've come across a tidy little frame called The Roots, a simple traditional 'A' frame futon that can be used as a sofa frame but, in my opinion, is best utilised as a simple lay flat bed frame.

The Roots is manufactured in redwood pine that is FSC Certified, i.e. from managed, sustainable sources in Europe, the slats are neat and strong, the finish is smooth and, although it arrives flat-packed, assembly is very straightforward, all the holes in the right places and neatly fitting together. The Roots also features a supporting central under-rail ensuring that the slats are not flexing in use.

Anyway, the Roots is just one of our range of futon bed frames but certainly worth a look if you're looking for a bed frame at a low cost. Visit our website for full details.
